Premium Bank has introduced a facility it calls "Helpstation" to a group of small scale enterprises to aid them scale up for the global market.
The event took place yesterday 20th July 2017 at Shippers House, Accra.
Help Station is an initiative from Premium Bank which seeks to provide Ghanaian SMEs with financial assistance and flexible bank loans within reduced processing time.
The facility also offers financial planning and management, access to debt and equity investments and book-keeping coupled with accounting support services to small scale business.
Mr. Kwasi Twum, Managing Director of Premium Bank in his address stated that, the general idea for setting up Helpstation is to empower Ghanaian SMEs.
He added that the bank believes in growing with these business since their success stories will contribute to the development of Premium Bank and Ghana as a country.
He stated that most SMEs will become multinational businesses if they are feed with the right tools or serine environment to operate.
He asserted that the 5 million cedis fund is to help SMEs have access to fast and easy loans to propagate their businesses.
Mr. Ekow Mensah, Manager of Helpstation explained that all it takes to benefit from the Helpstation is to open a business account with Premium Bank, he furthers stated that the facility creates a platform for SMEs to chance on templates for drafting legal agreements, financial statements and business plans.
Mr. Ekow Mensah disclosed that aside coaching and presentation skill, the Helpstation will provide an avenue for SMEs to network and close deals.
He finally said that periodic SME events and seminars will present a marketing and sales support to these businesses.
Tonaton, Asoreba, Goat Masters and Kantanka Motors are part of the many SMEs which attended the event.
