Pay back the MASLOC assistance – Kaku Korsa

Takoradi, Sept. 3, GNA – Colonel Kaku Korsa, Board Chairman of MASLOC, has said the MASLOC facility was not created to show appreciation to the party faithful and urged beneficiaries of the program to pay back.

He said supporting the vulnerable in the society with this intervention was government’s effort to help end poverty and raise the living standard of Ghanaians.

He said, “Please pay back facilities contracted under MASLOC in order for other citizens to benefit from the programme”.

Col Korsa said this when speaking at the launch of an Auto-Credit Scheme introduced by Unik Dezines Limited at Takoradi.

Under the Auto-Credit Scheme, businesses, individuals, churches and government workers could purchase electronics and different range of cars on a hire purchase.

Mr Dennis Anderson, Chief Executive officer of Unik Dezines Limited, said the scheme would allow the less privilege in the society to buy such necessities within a stipulated period.

He said the company is working in partnership with MASLOC, Ahantaman Rural Bank Limited and Equity Assurance Limited to facilitate the acquisition of automobiles and other electronics items from China.
