Pan African Resources to start drilling in Ghana

LONDON (AFX) - Pan African Resources PLC said it will start drilling at its Wa Gold project in Ghana this week.

The Julie Prospect, which is part of the Julie concession in north west Ghana, is estimated to have a resource potential of more than 300,000 ounces of gold to only a shallow depth.

Drilling will continue into the new year, however early results from Ghana should be available early next year, the company said.
