PZ Cussons, Midwives Association sign MOU to promote products

Winneba (C/R), Sept. 1, GNA – The Ghana Registered Midwives Association (GRMA) has endorsed the Cussons Baby products distributed by the PZ Cussons Ghana Limited as the baby product of choice for nursing mothers.

The Cussons Baby products, which are the newly improved formulas for perfect baby care, include powder, oil, jelly, lotion, wipes, soap and antiseptics.

They consist of active ingredients such as chamomile, milk, almond and rose oil, giving babies the best skin care and protection.

The GRMA have therefore signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with PZ Cussons Ghana Limited to promote the Cussons Baby products in health care delivery in the country.

Mrs Joyce Jetuah, President of GRMA, signed on behalf of the Association whilst Mrs Christiana Anim Asare, Brands Manager at PZ Cussons Ghana Limited, signed on behalf of the company at Winneba on Wednesday.

Mrs Jetuah said GRMA, whose members’ primary function was to assist women in antenatal and post-natal cases, was satisfied with the quality level of the Cussons Baby products.

She said GRMA would educate its members on the products who, in turn, would educate women who would visit health care institutions on the need to use them.

Mrs Asare said the products were developed based on extensive research ensuring that they satisfied care needs of babies.

She said: “Based on our expertise in baby care, we have consistently improved in providing innovative baby products for different skin needs.”

Mrs Asare commended midwives for their roles, which ensured safe child delivery. They make sure the baby arrives safely and easily, giving us the baby and the mother in good health, thereby creating a happy and joyful atmosphere for the family.”

She expressed delight at the partnership with GRMA and expressed the hope that midwives throughout the country would be ambassadors for the Cussons Baby products.
