Ghana and Finland are taking trade relations to the next level in the coming days with the Finnish Minister for Foreign Trade due in the country next week.

He will be accompanied by more than 20 businesses from that country.

The Finnish Ambassador to Abuja with oversight responsibility to Ghana, Pirjo Suomela Chowdhury explains that the move is aimed at strengthening trade ties between the two countries.

The Ambassador made the revelation when she paid a courtesy call on the Aviation Minister Cecelia Abena Dapaah yesterday to inform her about the impending visit.

“The Finnish Foreign trade and development Minister will be in Accra…with a business delegation about the size of the delegation we had last year,” she stated.

The Minister on her part told Starr Business the visit of the business delegation was timely and reinforces the confidence the international community reposes in the country in terms of investment.
