The Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has revealed that Ghana is the most peaceful country in the sub-region to do business.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu who is participating in the 5th Mediterranean Tourism Forum in Malta, has therefore called on business owners in that part of the world to consider Ghana when it comes to investments and reaping the desired returns in Africa.
At a courtesy call on Maltese President, Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca at her residence, he said the government has laid down good policies and programmes that are business- friendly and Malta should capitalize on it.
‘Ghana is looking for collaborative investment in the areas of technology and ?nance’ Otumfuo said.
He reminisced the introduction of lottery by the Maltese in Ghana and urge the president to go beyond lottery and use Ghana as an investment hub in Africa.
In response, the President of Malta, Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca af?rmed her commitment to the long-standing collaboration with Ghana in the areas of health, technology and ?nance.
She said Ghana is a great model of democracy, stability and development in sub-Saharan Africa. She emphasized that Ghana should use her in?uence to deepen democracy in Africa.

On 1st March during the Mediterranean Tourism Forum, the Mediterranean Tourism Foundation organized 12 Master Classes covering several aspects of tourism and hospitality from financing to energy management, marketing, HRM and culinary practices. Various professionals from different parts of the World were lectured during the various masterclass about their area of expertise. Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers.
During the Mediterranean Tourism Forum today, 2nd March, the Mediterranean Tourism Foundation will for the 5th time be organising the Forum which will bring together international, seasoned speakers to share their experience and knowledge with participants and accordingly inspire them to undertake sustainable tourism projects and initiatives.
