New Status for Coca Cola

A new company, Coca Cola Bottling Company of Ghana Ltd, has taken over the operations of the Bottling Division of the Ghana National Trading Corporation (GNTC).

This was the outcome of a deal struck between the govt of Ghana and Coca Cola International of the US to jointly own the company. A source close to the company told the Ghana News Agency that Coca Cola International has invested an initial capital of $20m under the deal.
