Nestlé Nutrition Line (NNL), a public service radio program by Nestlé Ghana aiming to educate Ghanaian consumers on good Nutrition, has been awarded for “Best Content” at the 6th National Public Relations and Communications Awards by the Institute of Public Relations (IPR), Ghana.
NNL, broadcast in English and Twi on Ghanaian radio stations, aims at providing consumers and the public with basic nutritional information on a daily basis to help them build sound nutrition knowledge, empower them to make informed choices on their diet and foster healthy lifestyles.
Mrs. Ama Amoah, Corporate Communications & Public Affairs Manager of Nestlé Ghana, upon receiving the award said: “as a leading Nutrition Health and Wellness company, one of the ways we promote healthy nutrition and lifestyles among Ghanaians is through public education, to enable healthier and happier lives. Education is a powerful tool in helping individuals and families make the right food choices. NNL has been running for the past 18 years. We are grateful to the IPR Ghana for recognizing Nestlé’s efforts in creating public awareness on healthy living.”
She dedicated the award to all Ghanaians and their families and urged them to constantly educate themselves on healthy food choices to enhance their wellbeing.
The Nestlé Nutrition Line reaffirms our company’s purpose of “enhancing quality of life and contributing to a healthier future”, and is broadcast daily in English on Joy FM at 7:15 am and in Twi on Adom FM at 7:00 am.
