NLA reduces win ration from 56% to 47%

The National Lottery Authority (NLA) has reduced its win ration from an average of 56 percent of sales revenue to 47 percent in the first quarter of this year.

The management of NLA attributed this to measures instituted to reduce fraud in their operations.

Presently, the NLA is investigating how its database administrator forged tickets for the illegal payment of about GHS800,000.

Kplorlarli Kplogah, Director for Corporate Planning and Sales, told XYZ news in an interview that the company has also increased its profits.

Last year the NLA increased its contributions to the consolidated fund from GHS15.4 million to GHS22 million.
