NLA holds draw for Afeyhia Pa Promo

The National Lottery Authority (NLA) on Thursday held the maiden draw of its Afehyia Pa promo to reward hardworking retailers. The promo which was launched on October 31 was to give hard working retailers the opportunity to win mouth-watering prizes including a saloon car and household items.

At the draw, 140 retailers won various prizes and Mr Austin Wuver from Accra and Yakubu Braimah from the Upper West Region won a sleek brand new Hyundai Accent salon car each while 20 others won freezers.

A 32- inch LED televisions were also given to 30 retailers as well as 40 refrigerators and 50 table top fridges and the winners were scattered across all the regions. Brigadier General Martin Ahiaglo, Director General of NLA said the promo was to motivate the retailers to focus and sell NLA products.

He said it is also intended to increase current sales and incremental revenue in order to establish statistical confidence in achieving its target by the close of the financial year.

“Through the Afehyia Pa promo, the retailer is encouraged to increase personal sales, thereby increasing their profits as well as standing a chance to win the vast array of the life enriching goodies,” he said.

Brig Ahiaglo urged the retailers to sell more to enable them to become winners of the various prizes available in the subsequent draws as the promo is valid until January 31, 2014.
