NBSSI To Be Restructured

The National Board for Small-Scale Industries (NBSSI) is to be restructured to make it more effective and responsive to the needs of the times.

The Minister of Trade, Industry and President?s Special Initiatives, Mr. Alan Kyerematen, who announced this said although the government directs resources to support the sector, a lot had not been achieved in that area.

The Minister, who was addressing a durbar of the staff of the board in Accra, said the mandate of the legislation setting up the board would be reviewed.
