Mobil, Alluworks Shares Go Up

Mobil Oil Ghana Limited made impressive gains on Friday to push the GSE-All Share Index, the key market indicator up 4.98 points but the market continued to be dominated by bearish sentiments.

The index, which went down 0.18 points on Wednesday, finished higher at 942.51 points from 937.53 points.Traded volumes again rose to close at 72,147 shares as against 47,000 shares at the previous close on the strength of Aluworks, which sold 65,200 shares.

There were three positive price changes. ALW gained 200 cedis at 4,300 and MOGL went up by 300 cedis to close up at 20,000. Unilever was up one cedi at 1,821 cedis.

Market capitalisation was slightly higher at 3,838.21 billion cedis Compared to 3,828.59 billion cedis at the previous close.
