Mfantseman Bank opens a new agency

Nanaba (C/R), Jan 10, GNA - The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mfantseman Community Bank at Biriwa, Reverend George Ato Mills Graves, has advised students to cultivate the habit of savings whilst at school. "You don't have to get more money before thinking of saving the surplus," he said.

Rev Mills Graves said this at the inauguration of the Cape Coast Polytechnic agency of the bank at Nanaba near Abora. He said the agency was making the bank accessible to its customers who were pursuing courses at the polytechnic and would also cater for the micro-credit groups the bank had formed in the area. Mr Peter Mensah, Manager of the bank, appealed to customers whose loans were over due for payment to settle them without delay to avoid embarrassment.

"Do not compel us to publish your names in the newspapers or put you before the law courts," Mr Mensah said. The bank also has agencies at Mankessim, Saltpond, Anomabo and Moree.
