Main stock index inches up

Accra, July 11, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Share Index inched up during Tuesday trading with only one of the equities making a move.

The GSE All-Share Index, the main stock index, went up by 0.02 points to 4,832.89 points from 4,832.87 points on Monday. Change for the year to date ended flat at 1.34 per cent. On the broader market, there was only one price change, a nine-cedi increase by Enterprise Insurance Company at 8,120 cedis. Traded volumes were up at 59,400 from Monday's 8,900 while market capitalisation was up at 95,577.54 billion cedis from 95,577.31 billion cedis.
