Staff of telecommunication giant, MTN Ghana, on Tuesday held a Customer Outreach Day to sensitise traders at the Kotokuraba Market on the products and services of the company.
The outreach also served as a platform for the traders to share the problems they encountered in accessing the Network for quick redress.
The traders were educated on the MTN Mobile Money transfers and how they could protect their pin to avoid falling victim to the recent spate of mobile money fraudsters.
Mr Prince Owusu Nyarko, the MTN Regional Senior Manager of the Western and Central regions, in an interview with the media, explained that the Customer Day initiative was to bring its products and services to the doorstep of the traders.
He said it was also to solicit the views and challenges faced by customers and help address them as most of them did not find it convenient to visit their customer care centres due to busy schedules.
“All the time our customers have to come to our Customer Care centres when they have problems but today we have come to their work places to provide them with our services so they would not have to sacrifice their busy schedules to go to our Customer Care for servicing.”
Mr Nyarko said through such engagement, people would understand and appreciate their products and services and continue to patronise them.
MTN has affordable smart feature phones suitable for every pocket, aimed at helping its customers to minimise expenses.
