The Sustainability and Social Impact Senior Manager of MTN Ghana, Robert Kuzoe, has been crowned the Best Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Practitioner at the 7th edition of the Ghana CSR Excellence Awards (GHACEA)

The award ceremony which was held on Friday, October 27, was organised by the Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), West Africa together with its partners to recognise corporate bodies, non-governmental organisations and individuals for their outstanding development and implementation of strategic CSR initiatives to impact society positively.

Robert Kuzoe who was grateful for the recognition said, “this award testifies that the hard work of the MTN Foundation has made positive impacts in the communities. I would like to c this award to MTN, the board of the MTN Ghana Foundation, management and staff of MTN and to beneficiaries across all our footprints in the country”.

He added that MTN, as a business, would continue to "brighten" the life of the people within our communities by investing in impactful and sustainable projects and be the benchmark of a corporate social responsibility in Ghana.”

Lead Project Manager of the Centre for CSR West Africa, Kojo Williams, commended Robert Kuzoe for taking keen personal interests in the development and implementation of the various CSR projects initiated by his organisation.

He stated that “Robert has supported and spearheaded a lot of MTN’s CSR initiatives over the past decade. The reason we certainly award a practitioner is that we want to encourage senior level managers and officers of organisations to involve themselves, in their personal capacities, in the CSR projects their organisation undertake”.
