Adonten Community Bank Increases Profit By 39%

Board chairman of Adonten Community bank, Mr. Emmanuel Appiah Korang has assured shareholders of working hard to ensure the bank's success in the coming years as lots of innovations and measures are been put in place to help them achieve their target. According to him, both Board and the entire management are committed to their duties and are very sure that support from shareholders will really improve the bank's revenue in the coming years.
Speaking at the banks' 16th annual general meeting at Akyem Tafo in the Eastern region, mr Appiah- Korang however stated the bank's intention to roll out in-service training for workers in order to boost their knowledge and technical know-how. He said the bank's total assets is now 10,184,646 cedis last year as compared to that of 2012 which was 8,677,150 representing 17% increase. He also said the bank made a profit of 582,834.24 cedis last year as compared to 418,622.10 cedis in 2012 which represents 39% increase.
Mr. Appiah- Korang however appealed to shareholders to pay back loans in time to enable the bank extend it to others in need.
Representative of ARB/Apex bank, mr. Vicent Osei Tuffour commended the board,management and workers for their hardwork which has kept them in the Ghana Club 100. He assured them of his outfit's continious support to the bank and also urged them to put down more policies in order to increase the revenue base. He therefore called on shareholders to support management in implementing decisions that will be of benefit to all.
The General manager of the bank, mr. Felix Debrah also commended staff for their dedicated service and urged them to put in efforts in the coming years. He was grateful to the traditional authority for giving them land intended for the building of their headquarters.
