Kludjeson elected President of AGI again

Accra, Feb. 26, GNA - Mr Prince Kofi Kludjeson of Kludjeson International Limited, was on Thursday elected President of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), for a second time at this year's Annual General Meeting of the Association.

Having served before as President of the Association from 1999 to 2001, Mr Kludjeson would succeed Mrs Joyce Elizabeth Villars, the outgoing President.

In a statement issued on Friday by the Association, Mr Kludjeson commended the outgoing executives for their meritorious work. He said his focus would be to help industries grow and offer them better services, adding, "more support is needed to go to the Small and Medium scale Enterprises (SMEs), so that they can benefit from the President's Special Initiatives".

Mr Kludjeson appealed to large-scale industries to support the SMEs by way of subcontracting and marketing their products through their distribution networks.
