Jomoro Rural makes impressive performance

The Jomoro Rural bank Limited at Tikobo Number one in the Western Region made a profit before tax of 32, 529.00 Ghana Cedis in 2012 as against 5,440.00 in 2011, representing 498 percent profit.

Paid-up Capital of the Banks increased from 152,516.00 in 2011 to 155,657.00 in 2012.

Dr. Cusmos Cobbold, Chairman of the Board of Director of the Bank said this at the 16th Annual General Meeting of the bank at Tikobo No. one at the weekend He said the bank’s total deposit increased from GH¢ 5,053,352.00 in 2011 to GH¢ 6,755,535.00 in 2012.

According to Dr. Cobbold the total Asset of bank grew from GH¢6,042,326.00 in 2011 to GH¢ 7,667,971.00 Ghana Cedis in 2012.

He said total Loan and Advance to farmers, transporters, traders and other customers increased from GH¢2,478,611.00 in 2011 to GH¢3,104,157.00 Ghana Cedis.

The Managing Director of the ARB Apex Bank, Mr Kwaduo Ayi Kusi, in a speech read for him by Mr Michael Nyarku Nyarko, Acting Managing of the ARB Apex Bank Takoradi, congratulated the bank and the Board for their gains in 2012.

The Omanhene of Western Nzema Traditional Area, Awulae Annor Adjaye III, appealed to loan defaulters to pay back to enable others to benefit.
