Tae Kwan Do Instructor's Alleged Forgery Case

THE POLICE Criminal Investigations Department - CID Headquarters has called for the docket on the case in which a former police Tae Kwan Do Korean instructor, Mr. Hwa Ryun Na and others are helping the Takoradi Railway and Ports police to investigate a case of alleged forgery.

The rest are Captain Ahiakpoh, Capt. Jones, all marine surveyors at Tema and one Tetteh, a director of Ha Fisheries Ltd, a Tema based fishing company.

Chronicle investigations reveal that some time last month, one Gladys Galley, a fishing vessel owner had information that her signature and company's stamp had been forged at the registrar of ships at Takoradi.

She then reported the issue to the Takoradi Railways and Ports police who, after investigation, arrested the former police Korean Tae Kwan Do instructor, Hwa Ryun Na and the two others but Tetteh reportedly refused to report to the Takoradi police to assist in the investigation.

As the enquiries went on, the police headquarters called for the docket on the case.

The Chronicle later got to know that the docket was going to be studied for further instructions but it was also learnt that Capt. Ahiakpoh allegedly confessed to the criminal act.

Our information is that Capt. Jones sub-letted the contract to register a vessel to Captain Ahiakpor and in the process, the act took place.
