The Chief Executive Officer of Johnny’s Food and Meat Complex, Mr. John Agyekum has stated that he is ready to open a school to teach butchery if he gets assistance from government.

According to him the number of unemployed graduates in the country keeps increasing by the day and if nothing is done about it could get out of hands.

Speaking exclusively to Kasapa FM’s Leticia Ohene-Asiedu on Business Digest with Tish, Mr. Agyekum who runs an ultra-modern abattoir at Madina in Accra said he trained as a butcher in Germany some years ago and upon his return to Ghana, decided to open an abattoir since he could not set eyes on any in Accra.

The German trained butcher said butchery is a very lucrative business since the consumption of meat and poultry never stops and added that he receives countless number of application letters every day mostly from university graduates.
