Accra, Nov. 15, GNA - Mr Paul Okoh, Member of Parliament for Asutifi=

North, at the weekend, called on players in the hospitality industry, to apply themselves to good customer service delivery to attract and retain clients. He stressed that good customer service is the life wire of every industry, adding that unless people in the hospitality service takes customer care seriously, their business ventures "would be out of steam". Mr Okoh made the call when he inaugurated a GH¢500,000-hotel facil= ity at the Pokuase Ridge in the Ga West District of the Greater Accra Region. The facility which is equipped with 18 guest rooms, a state of the a= rt fitness centre, kitchen, internet caf=E9, restaurant and a conference roo= m, is known as "Dokua Royal Hotel". Mr Okoh emphasised that good customer relations had become an import= ant paradigm in modern business such that customers who feel they had been poorly treated would easily spread the news to discredit management and t= o make the company to suffer goodwill among the public. He stressed: "If a customer feels bad about how he or she has been treated, he or she will tell her friends about it. Before you know. you'r= e out of business." Mr Okoh reminded management of the hotel to develop proper maintenan= ce culture to preserve the edifice. He said the hotel administrators need to adopt an open communication=

method, which stimulates meaningful voluntary contributions of ideas and suggestions from subordinates for posterity. Nana Yaw Ankomah, Chief Executive Officer of the hotel, said the business entity seeks to provide fresh option to customers who want to br= eak from the hustle and bustle of city life to the serene atmosphere and comf= ort generated by the panorama of mountains and ridges and the vegetation bree= ze surrounding the hospitality facility. He gave the assurance that customers could count on comfort and value=

for money as well as the facilities to be provided by the hotel. 15 Nov. 10 Caption pictures: P186, P187: Dokua Royal Hotel open at the weeked. 205: Mr. Paul Okoh, Member of Parliament of Asutifi North Constituency speaking at the opening ceremony of the Dokua Royal Hotel.
