Golden Pride Savings and Loans Limited (GPSLL) has opened a new branch at the Tema Fishing Harbour to offer services to customers in and within the enclave.

The new branch is also to provide a spacious environment and give clear visibility to its prospective and active customers in providing effective and efficient banking services.

Mr Johnson Boadi Asamoah, Managing Director of GPSLL, said the new place is strategic because it offers opportunity for staff to interact with its numerous customers and new clients about their products and services.

The new branch brings to seven the number of branches, offering savings and demand deposit, E-banking, SMS alert, mobile money transfers, western union and MoneyGram services and facilitating the payment of school fees for secondary and tertiary levels.

Mr Asamoah noted that the company’s vision is to become the preferred banking partner that emphasises on building shareholder value through the delivery of quality banking products, services and solutions in innovative and cost effective ways.

He said the company was built on strong and dedicated values such as integrity, passion, relationship, diversity and expertise with great leadership and strong foundation.

Mr Asamoah said the company is poised to reduce the cost base and bureaucracy, improve accountability and speed up decision making.

He urged the public to open an account with the company for the provision of sound, solid and reliable banking services.

Mr Peter Fraizer Owusu-Kusi, Senior Risk Manager at GPSLL, said the company was licensed under the Non-Bank Financial Institutions Act 2008, ACT 774 and wholly owned by the Ghana Mineworks’ Union of Trade Union Congress.

He said the company is currently headquartered in Obuasi in the Ashanti Region with branches in Accra, Tarkwa and Sunyani.
