The first-ever Ghanaian Diaspora Business Summit is to be held at the Accra International Conference Centre, Accra, from 10a.m. to 3p.m. on Friday. September 6, 2013.
It forms part of the Ghana government’s policy to reach out to the diaspora and beyond to enable them to play their rightful role in the on-going development process.
Accordingly, the summit is designed as a platform to facilitate networking, exchange of ideas for businesses and investment support schemes between Ghanaian entrepreneurs and Ghanaians living abroad.
The forum is being organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration with the Diaspora Support Unit (DSU) of the Legal and Consular Bureau (LECB) as a focal point to encourage the diaspora to engage institutions in Ghana through the various Missions abroad.
