Ghana to earn over $13 million from export of smooth Cayenne Pineapples

Ghana is expected to earn over 13 million dollars in the next 5 years through the export of Smooth Cayenne Pineapples.

The Chief Executive of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority, Madam Gifty Klenam said over 15 million pineapple suckers will be given out to farmers for production.

This she says is to ensure the revival of this variety of pineapples due to its growing demand on the international market.
