Ghana producer inflation falls sharply to 4.9 pct in december

Ghana's producer price inflation fell sharply to 4.9 percent year-on-year in December, from 11.9 percent the month before, the statistics office said on Wednesday.

Ghana's new president Nana Akufo-Addo has vowed to create jobs, promote business and fight corruption. The government also inherits a $918 million International Monetary Fund deal that aims to reduce debt, the budget deficit and inflation
