According to the NCA’s figures, Ghana recorded quarterly net growth of 8.4% in the last three months of 2007, taking the country’s total subscription base to 7.6 million, at end-Dec.

MTN Ghana was market leader by the start of 2008 with four million subscriptions, ahead of Millicom Ghana (Tigo) with two million, while GT- OneTouch had 1.27 million and Kasapa Telecom had 289,066.
