The Ghana Maritime Authority (GMA) has earned national recognition at the 2024 Public Enterprises League Table Awards, held at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City, Accra.

At the prestigious ceremony, GMA was adjudged the ‘Most Innovative Other State Entity,’ underscoring its commitment to forward-thinking initiatives within the sector.

The Authority also secured 10th position overall on the league table, achieving an impressive performance score of 3.903.

Speaking at the event, Presidential Adviser on the Economy, Seth Terkper, singled out GMA’s innovation as a benchmark worthy of emulation by other state-owned enterprises.

The recognition reflects the strategic direction provided by GMA’s Board and the institution’s continued pursuit of excellence.

The Authority reaffirmed its commitment to driving innovation and delivering impactful results for Ghana’s maritime industry and the broader national economy.
