The President of the Ghana Consulting Engineers Association (GCEA), Ing. Albert Ogyiri has confirmed that all is set for the Ghana Consulting Engineers week celebration slated for Wednesday, 6th December to Friday, 8th December, 2017 at the Engineers centre, Roman Ridge, Accra.
According to Ing. Ogyiri, the celebration is under the theme: The role of Consulting Engineers and the Development Agenda of Ghana; and the event is expected to attract over 200 participants including Government officials, local Administrative Authorities and Directors of member Consulting Engineering firms in the country.
The Ghana Consulting Engineers Association is made up of legally constituted Indigenous Ghanaian firms and Individuals practicing consulting engineering in Ghana.
The GCEA is committed to the development of the capacity of consulting engineering firms to effectively harness the human resources for the development and sustenance of Ghana’s infrastructure. The Ghana Consulting Engineers Association is a member Association of FIDIC and GAMA.
The Guest Speaker for the program is the Minister for Railway Development, Hon. Joe Ghartey; and in attendance include the President of Ghana Institution of Engineers, Ing. Mrs. Carlien Bou-Chedid, GAMA President, Major of Accra Metropolitan Assembly and sister bodies in the Built Environment.
Activities include Technical sessions, workshops, Annual General Meeting and Exhibition.
