Ghana Commercial Bank opens more branches

Accra, May, 14, GNA - Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) Limited has opened two more branches in Abelenkpe in Accra and Dambai in the Volta Region. This brings the total number of branches to 139 and 10 agencies countrywide.

A statement issued by the Public Relations Department of GCB said opening of the new branches was within GCB's policy of making banking services more accessible and convenient to Ghanaians in all sectors of the economy and part of the strategic plan to add more branches to GCB's network by June this year.

The Abelenkpe branch is located at the Allied Filling Station on the Olusegun Obasanjo Road in Accra while the Dambai branch is located opposite the Dambai old market.

The statement said apart from over the counter transactions, customers and non-customers can also use the GCB Xpress Money Transfer to move funds across the country - online.

The new branches offer all GCB services including the Kudi Nkosuo, personal loans, GCB fast international money transfer, GCB Moneygram, remittances, staff loans, packages for small and medium scale enterprises, Fodem for non-resident Ghanaians, trade services, commernet Plus (Internet banking), Royal banking and ATM services.
