GTP honours Staff

Tex Styles Ghana Limited (TSG), a leading manufacturer and marketer of African Prints (GTP and Woodin range of products) honoured 49 of its employees who have served the Company diligently between 10-40 years at an impressive ceremony at Tema.

The ‘Long Service Award’ ceremony is an annual program to commemorate and award employees who have provided tireless service to TSG in ensuring its growth and development over the years. Each awardee received a prize package comprising cash, company products and a certificate of recognition.

Five of the awardees who have served 40 years were given special recognition and commendation.

The Managing Director of TSG, Mr Kofi Boateng who himself was an awardee with 35 years to his credit expressed gratitude to all the awardees for their diligence and loyalty which has contributed greatly to the reputation of the GTP and Woodin brands as we know them today.

He further urged the awardees and the rest of the staff to work in solidarity in order to surmount the challenges facing the textiles industry and to further propel the company’s brands to the next stage of development.

In a speech read on behalf of all the awardees, Mr. Nelson Ahorlu expressed appreciation to the Management of TSG for instituting such an award scheme. He advised his colleague employees to make punctuality, self-discipline and hard work their core values in order to grow GTP and Woodin into global brands.
