GSE makes slight recovery

Accra, Aug. 9, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange made a slight recovery in another poor trading on Tuesday with the All-Share Index, the main market indicator, inching up by 0.46 points to 4,851.71 points. Change for the year-to-date ended at -28.64 per cent.

There were two price changes - both positive.

SG-SSB gained four cedis at 7,805 cedis and Guinness Ghana Breweries also gained four cedis at 6,005 cedis.

Shares traded were down to 45,900 from 115,100 shares on Monday. Market capitalisation was up at 92,027.69 billion cedis from 3,382.54 million issued shares.
