GSE index rises on back of CAL Bank

Accra, Dec. 12, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) closed higher on Tuesday on the back of gains by CAL Bank Limited. The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark measure, gained 3.95 points to end the session at 4,997.54 points.

Traded volumes ended at 56,000 and change for the year to date stands at 4.79 per cent.

On the broader market, there were two positive price changes. CAL Bank Limited gained 150 cedis to close at 2,000 cedis and ECOBANK Ghana went up by one cedi at 13,506 cedis. Market capitalisation stands at 112,236.30 cedis.
