GSE index rises but volumes low

Accra, Dec. 21, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index on Thursday inched up slightly but volumes of shares traded more than tripled. The Index, the benchmark measure, gained 0.02 points to end the session at 5,005.88 points from 5,005.86 points. Traded volumes ended at 153,800 from 51,000 shares. The change for the year to date stands at 4.97 per cent. ECOBANK Ghana Limited the only price gainer made one cedi to close at 13,514 cedis. Market capitalisation ended at 112,415.20 billion cedis from 112,415.04 billion cedis on Wednesday.
