GSE index opens the week lower

Accra, July 20, GNA - The benchmark GSE All-Share index of the Ghana Stock Exchange dipped by 10.39 points on Monday to open the week at 5,286.29 points.

Change for the year to date now stands at -49.32 per cent. Shares that changed hands stood at 85,900 shares. Market capitalisation was down marginally at GH¢15,180.13 million. On the broader market, there were three negative price changes. Ghana Commercial Bank lost GH¢0.02 at GH¢0.68, Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited went down by GH¢0.01 at GH¢1.25 and Unilever Ghana shed GH¢0.01 at GH¢3.43.
