GSE continues to rise in moderate volume

Accra, March 11, GNA - The Accra bourse GSE-All Share Index continued its rise on Wednesday with volumes also picking up from Tuesday's close. The index went up by 6.23 points to close at 7,135.94 points from 7,129.71 points on Tuesday.

Change year to date now stands at 8.12 per cent.

Traded volumes jumped to 431,700 from 67,500.

There were three price changes - all positive. Ecobank Ghana Limited was GH¢0.01 better at GH¢2.53; Guinness Ghana Breweries gained GH¢0.01 at GH¢1.42 and Unilever went up by GH¢0.01 at GH¢2.20.

Market capitalisation closed the session at GH¢13,509.98 million from GH¢13,506.10 million.
