GSE All-Share index rises

Accra, April 4, GNA - The GSE All-Share index, the benchmark measure, rose slightly in dull trading on Wednesday. The index closed at 5,095.87 points from 5,095.49 points on Tuesday.

Shares that changed hands climbed to 329,400 from 70,600 while change for the year was better at 1.79 per cent.

On the broader market, there were five price changes, all positive.

Total Petroleum was one cedi better at 54,256 cedis, Ghana Commercial Bank jumped up 15 cedis at 6,715 cedis, Ecobank made four cedis at 14,111 cedis, CAL Bank gained nine cedis at 2,400 cedis and Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited inched up by one cedi at 9,356 cedis. Market capitalization closed higher at 113,035.25 billion cedis from 113,032.96 billion cedis.
