GSE All-Share index inches up

Accra, May 17, GNA - The GSE All-Share index, the benchmark measure of the Accra bourse rose 1.43 points to close at 5,163.88 points. Total shares traded closed the session at 71,700 shares. Change for year currently stands at 3.15 per cent.

On the broader market, there were five positive changes. Ecobank Ghana Limited gained 40 cedis at 14,250 cedis, Enterprise Insurance Company went up two cedis at 9,423 cedis and Ghana Commercial Bank was two cedis richer at 6,800 cedis. Other gainers were Guinness Ghana Limited, which rose by 10 cedis to close at 9,420 cedis while SG-SSB was up one cedi at 7,001 cedis. Market capitalization ended the session at 113,452.63 billion cedis.
