Accra, March 25, GNA - The main index of the Accra Bourse fell a whopping 239.71 points on Wednesday, pulled down by price loss of Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI). The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark measure of performance of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE), dipped to close the session at 9,291.93 points as against Tuesday's close of 9,531.64 points. Change for the year to date now stands at -10.93 per cent. Market capitalisation also declined and ended the session lower at GH¢18,073.76 million, a drop from GH¢18,248.14 million. Traded volumes also fell to close at 196,800 shares from a high of 522,500 shares recorded on Tuesday. The only price change stood in the name of ETI, which lost GH¢0.02 at GH¢0.42.
