GSE All-Share Index continues its impressive gain

Accra, Feb. 18, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark indicator of the Accra bourse on Monday begins the week with a significant gain when it shot up by 25.83 points.

The Index went up from 6,867.92 points on Friday to close at 6,893.75 points on Monday, while traded volumes fell from as high as 8,723,500 shares last Friday to 202,100 shares on Monday. Change year to date went up to 4.45 per cent.

On the broader market there were four gainers; Golden Star Resources Limited gained 0.10 GH cedis at 3.10 GH cedis, CAL Bank Limited and Ecobank Ghana Limited went up 0.05 GH Cedis each to close at 0.67 and 2.35 GH cedis respectively, Standard Chartered Bank was richer by 0.01 GH cedis at 26.61 GH cedis.

Market capitalisation went up at 13,355.88 million GH cedis from 13,339.78 million GH cedis on Friday.
