GPHA engages international clients at 2019 Nor-Shipping Conference

The 2019 Nor-Shipping, an annual maritime trade fair has been held in Norway where major maritime players and shipping service providers across the globe where assembled to discuss growing trends in the maritime industry.

Nor-Shipping 2019 sought to deliver value for its core shipping audience by engaging new oceans actors and providing unique high level expertise and insights to enable the cooperation that will allow the maritime industry to prosper in the future.

The Ghana Ports and Harbour Authority participated in this year's conference which gave the authority the opportunity to meet and interact with its foreign clients to update them on how Ghana's ports are taking significant steps towards optimum efficiency.

The General Manager, Marketing and Corporate Affairs of GPHA, Esther Gyebi-Donkor said the event has been helpful for the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority to take note of areas of their service delivery they could enhance to better serve potential client internationally.

Information on the ports were made readily available to potential clients at the GPHA stands which were opened for investment opportunities and manned by the Deputy Marketing and Corporate Affairs Manager of GPHA Nana Esi Soderberg.

Nor-Shipping is one of the leading international shipping event and an important meeting place and forum for the shipping industry. It remains one of the most pivotal and well attended event of the marine and offshore calendar.
