GCB donates to Judicial Service to stem coronavirus spread

The GCB Bank Limited has donated a quantity of consumables to the Judicial Service of Ghana to help protect personnel from contracting the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).

The items included 550 gallons of hand sanitizers, 100 gallons of liquid soap, 300 pieces of tissue, 50 Veronica buckets and 50 basins.

Mr Anselm Ray Sowah, Managing Director of the Bank presenting the items, said it was time to give back to society, especially, in the wake of COVID-19 to protect its customers.

“GCB has the responsibility to keep our customers safe in situations such as this,” he said.

Justice Anin Yeboah, the Chief Justice, receiving the items said he was overwhelmed by the generosity of the bank.

He said the items would be used judiciously and some would soon be dispatched to the various regions.
