Fuel prices go down marginally

Prices of fuel have gone down marginally. The new prices will take effect from November 16.

According to the National Petroleum Authority, petrol recorded the highest drop of 0.71 percent in its price.

Diesel also went down by 0.51 percent. Petrol and diesel will now sell at GH¢2 12 pesewas and GH¢2 22 pesewas.

LPG and kerosene also went down by 0.29 percent. Premix fuel which is used by fishermen also declined by 0.27 percent.

In the month of October, there were two bi-weekly reviews which yielded a cumulative reduction in fuel prices of nearly 6.0 percent.

Then there was a near 2% increment in November 1st to be followed by this reduction which is less than 1%.
