Consumers are getting some relief at the pumps as fuel prices dropped at several outlets on Friday, January 16, 2026.
Petrol has fallen from GH¢10.99 to GH¢9.99 per litre, marking a full GH¢1 reduction. Diesel also declined, dropping from GH¢11.96 to GH¢11.21 per litre, a 75-pesewa cut.
The price adjustment, reflected in the latest Ghana Oil Company (GOIL) rates, follows the recent strengthening of the cedi against major trading currencies, particularly the US dollar.
