Fiaseman Rural Bank earns praise as "robust and visionary"

Bogoso, May 22, GNA - The Fiaseman Rural Bank has been ranked as one of the strongest eight out of the 133 Rural and Community Banks in Ghana. The grading, which came from the Efficiency Monitoring Unit (EMU), of Apex Bank Limited, was published in the 2010 Performance of Rural and Community Banks of ARB Apex Bank. The report focused on the composite rating system recognized by the bank. The bank has also maintained its exclusive first position among the 14 rural banks in the Western region. It has again achieved its ultimate corporate vision of becoming one of the strongest rural banks in Ghana in June 2010 and further improved its performance in the last two quarters of the year. To further these achievements, the bank's management said it would map out good and effective strategies to deliver their best to the utmost satisfaction of all stakeholders. "The company hopes to review interest rate and other charges to attract more customers and is considering reducing the interest rate on other loan products for non customer salaried workers on "one touch loans" to attract more customers," the management said at the bank's 23rd annual general meeting at Bogoso, at the weekend.
