West Blue launches e-zone for GUTA

As part of the Ghana National Single Window project, the technical support partners of the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority has established an electronic help zone at the offices of the Ghana Union of Traders Association.

The e-zone centres have been launched at the Swissport, customs head office in Accra, Tema long room and the Ghana Export Promotion Authority in Accra to help importers access information or make enquiries.

The President of GUTA, George Ofori opined that the e-zone will reduce time and cost members incur in transacting their businesses.

“I believe this system will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the clearance of goods at our various points of entry,” he said.

The Head of Technical Services Bureau of the Customs Division of the GRA, said the e-zones are well equipped to give credible information to traders in the country and solicit the needed feedbacks.
