Ethiopian Airlines supports Christian pilgrims from Ghana

It’s the season of pilgrimages and as Ghana is touted as a Christian country much is expected of its citizens to visit the holy land of which much is said about in the holy book.

This year, Africa’s largest airline group, Ethiopian Airlines, is providing seamless connections for Ghanaian Christians seeking to go on Holy Pilgrimage to Israel.

The Airline has partnered with a pilgrimage company ‘One People Travels’ for Ghanaian churches and individuals who would want to travel to Israel.

Speaking to the Area Manager of Ghana, Mrs. Genet W. Michael, she said,

“Ethiopian Airlines always wants to satisfy the needs of our passengers”

According to her, the Airline decided to partner with the pilgrimage company because of the increasing numbers of pilgrims.

She said, "the holy pilgrimage is also expected to increase their Christian faith and strengthen their relationship with God".

Adding that, “With the recent increase in the number of pilgrims going to Israel, we have to support the agencies providing such services” she was quick to add that, the Airline has improved its services globally with new aircraft and new destinations.

According to her, the first badge of pilgrims who left the country today for Israel are expected to be back by the 19th of March.
