Accra, 13 May, GNA - Entrepreneurs have been called upon to develop a good business plan to attract assistance from financial institutions. "A good business plan should be well packaged, have a good executive summary, have a realistic vision and also have a tight financial discipline", said Mr. Alfred Koomson, a lecture in Entrepreneurship at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
Speaking at the monthly meeting of the members of the Accra Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ARCCI), he said although a good business plan would not grant them an automatic access to loans; it might at least grant them the needed loan applications consideration. He called on the membership to develop strong relations with their clients and also develop the entrepreneurial skills of their work force to attract more clients. Nana Appiagyei Dankawoso, Chairman of the ARCCI, appealed to the members to take advantage of loans facilities given by the World Bank for Small and Medium Enterprises in the country to expand their businesses.
