“This year, July, we had our highest ever revenue that ECG collected, GH₵1.74 billion. It’s a record and we want to celebrate that,” Kpekpena said.

According to the management, several reforms are underway to improve customer experience, particularly in areas where applicants have long faced delays in securing power connections and meters.

“We want to reduce the frustrations applicants face in getting power supply or in getting meters. We know we have some issues in some districts and regions, and we are working to resolve those. But internally, we are working on those processes, and we are making progress,” Kpekpena assured.

The company also noted that its dual focus on financial discipline and service delivery will position ECG as a more responsive and efficient utility provider in the years ahead.
