Dutch Prime Minister, Mark Rutte has commend President Akufo-Addo revitalising Ghana since he assumed power

Mr Rutte pointed out the president's aid to trade agenda as highly impressive

Dutch Prime Minister, Mark Rutte has commended President Nana Akufo-Addo for revitalising the country since coming into power in January, this year.

According to him, particularly impressive was President Akufo-Addo's vision to move Ghana's relationship with the economic world from aid to trade.

Mr Rutte made the observation during bilateral talks with President Akufo-Addo at the Flagstaff House Thursday. He pledged greater cooperation between Ghana and the Netherlands in the coming years.

President Akufo-Addo also expressed his excitement at the multiple visits to Ghana by European leaders over the last few days.

He welcomed all forms of interest the Dutch government may have in the Ghanaian economy and assured the Prime Minister that his government will offer the best of assistance to all investors from the Netherlands.

The Dutch Prime Minister who is on a three-day State Visit to Ghana came before the visit of French President, Emmanuel Macron. He is expected to take part in a Netherlands-Ghana Business Forum before he departs the country.
